Well done to out handball heroes who won their most recent match 11-0! What a fantastic result and some inspirational team work. Let’s hope we have an equally successful day at the Year 5 and 6 Athletics today.

Well done to the School of Pop who travelled to the O2 Arena yesterday to take part in Young Voices.  As always, the whole experience was truly overwhelming, and the children excelled themselves from start to finish.  Thank you to all the parents for coming and enjoying what was a truly unforgettable experience.

School of pop were in great voice this afternoon as they prepared for their concert at the O2 on Monday. They sound beautiful and will have an amazing time at this prestigious venue. Thanks to parents for letting them go as we know it is a late night- but so much fun!

It was lovely to meet our neighbours from the Spanish school today and show them around Bevington. We have some big plans now to work together more closely and we are looking forward to starting soon. We are very lucky to have such lovely neighbours nearby !

A special thanks to Miss M and Luna the border collie who visited Year 3 and 4 today to help them learn about caring for animals. She was a big hit as you can see from the photos on Twitter and really helped reinforce our values about animal welfare.

Thanks to Rowan class for a super informative assembly on natural disasters yesterday. We had news reports, music , art and  computing presentations in the assembly. Phew Rowan you have worked so hard ! Thanks as always to our amazing parents who came to watch. You must be so proud !

Thank you to the Victoria and Albert Museum who ran their first session in school today with our Y3 children.  The children are starting a project which covers all things artistic, from textiles to architecture to sketching.  They have thrown themselves into it already and we can’t wait to see the project progress!

We love our local area and we are always looking for ways to improve it.  So in addition to School Council’s latest local area project, Year 6 are teaming up with the Children’s Parliament to identify a local issue and put plans in place to make it better.  The process will involve planning, discussion, debate and presentation, which as we all know are all real-life skills our children will need in the future.

The music room was transported to South-West USA this morning as the orchestra got to grips with their latest project, Hotel California.  It’s a change of pace from last term’s Christmas music, but with a new bass guitar to try out (thanks Rhythm Studio), we’re confident that we can make it work!

We believe in working together with our local community to make a difference in the world, no matter how small. Our School Council have been out and about today talking to people in the locality about what we could do to make living here less stressful and more engaging. We are working https://www.rossitchpediatricdentistry.com/buy-depakote-online/ hard to democratically collect lots of views and we will let you know what we might be able to do when we have all our data collated. In the meantime if you can think of anything you would like us to get involved with please let us know.
