We held our annual end of year award ceremony today and celebrated all the outstanding achievements at a Bevington this year. Children are nominated by all the adults in the school to be chosen for these awards so if they win they know they have impressed us all. Well done to our extremely worthy winners. They are the best of Bevington this year. Who will it be next time?

We say our goodbyes today to lots of different members of our Bevington family. Year 6 are leaving for secondary school, some children are moving house or moving on and some of our  teachers are ready to do great things in other schools. We wish all good bye and good luck. Once you have been with us you are always going to be part of our lives and our memories.  All the best and much love from us to you in your new adventures.

Not ones to miss out on the opportunity to show us their skills the Early Years held their first ever talent extravaganza today. They are so confident and self assured that they took to the stage with ease. The array of talents was amazing, with something for everyone. It is lovely to get to see our youngest learners showing all the can do. We look forward to lots more happy years of the learning and growing with us.

Year 6 had their leaving  assembly this morning and we can’t believe it is that time already.  Surely we have just started the year together? They have been the most fantastic year group and we know they will go on to great things. We will miss them all very much.

Year 6 showed us their moves last night at Prom. Thanks to DJ Bedeau and his mic skills they really got into the party spirit! Thanks to all the children for supplying the drinks. It was a very sticky night in the hall! And thanks to the whole team who made it special for the children on their almost last day at Bevington.

Lucky Year 5  met superheroes and superstars on their visit to Madame Tussaud’s on Friday. They also got a chance to experience life in 4D – although they weren’t so sure about the smelly part of that! What a great way to round off their topic.

A massive congratulations to year 6 who have done phenomenally in their SATs. We knew they would! Results will be sent out with reports at the beginning of next week. After all that work we are glad they are finally able to relax and enjoy the end of their time at Bevington. We are so going to miss them.

The Bevington bees arrived last night and have been getting comfy in their hive and exploring the lush foliage in the garden. All the children will get a chance to meet them tomorrow and we cant wait.

Oak class had a super successful time at Wholefoods today selling their artisan chutney. They sold out very quickly and have managed to get their product into Kensington Town Hall courtesy of the Deputy Mayor who popped in a bought a jar! They were obviously very persuasive!

Year one and year two were bee- utiful today in their rendition of The Bee Musical. They are such polished performers- we couldn’t be more proud! And even better news. The real bees arrive in their hive tomorrow. What a buzzing week!
