We had our termly friendship afternoon this Friday. We love it when we can all mix up and play together. Thanks to Year 6 for collecting all their groups and helping out just like they are big brothers and sisters. We had a great time.

100% attendance this week! Excellent work Willow class – keep it up !

Thanks to QPR who came in and led our assembly this morning all about the importance of black history month. They were hugely inspiring and accessible for all. We learnt a lot and really enjoyed the thunderclap!

Year 3 and 4 had a lovely day immersed in Japanese culture today. There was a real air of tranquility across the phase. Must have been all the sushi !

We had steel pans and colourful costumes in the middle hall today as year 1 and 2 celebrated all things carnival. Music, colour and fun- we love it! Thanks to all the parents who attended. The children were delighted to see you.

Thanks to all the colleagues who travelled to Bevington today to talk about the best ways to tackle disadvantage. There was much discussion and problem solving amongst the group with some good ideas that we can all share. It’s  good to talk.

Year 6 spent the day taking in all the sights and sounds of London Zoo. They learnt about all the rainforest animals they have studied in their topic and tried hard to keep up with Mr Smith on the way back. Who’s zooming who ?!

Thanks to our friends at ChickenShed who came in a gave us a brilliant assembly about a local drama group they run. We were really excited to hear what is on offer and hope lots of you are interested in joining. We have such a lot of raw talent it will be great to see it blossom.

That is the only way to describe the acting that we were treated to by Mulberry class in their production last night.  There were stand out solo performances but what was most thrilling was how well the class came together as an ensemble. Just like a night at the real theatre.
