The sports days are as follows:

EYFS – Tuesday 2nd July

KS1 – Wednesday 3rd July

KS2 – Thursday 4th July

All children need to come in wearing something of their team colour on the day your class teacher will let the children know what their team colour is. All parents are welcome to attend and support their child for their sports day.

It’s time to clean out your cupboards and get rid of your unwanted junk!

As you will have seen, the PTA are holding the Bevington Summer Fair on Friday 5th July.  All proceeds will go directly back to the school to help buy reading and science materials to help our children’s learning.

We are looking for nearly new unwanted items for our Bric A Brac stall.

There will be a table in reception from this afternoon for you to leave any items you wish to donate.

We are very pleased to announce Mr Smith has been awarded the Primary School Teacher of the Year 2019 for RBKC.

This week is phonics week, meaning our Year 1 children will be showing their amazing reading skills in our yearly phonics screen.  Do you know your trigraph from your phoneme?  If not, ask a Year 1 child who I sure will be happy to explain!

Everyone brought their best smiles for school photos today.  The photographer completed the whole school in lightning speed and everyone looked smart and super photogenic.  Well done Bevington – can’t wait to see the finished product!

Year 6 got a taste today for all things noodle and rice related as they were let loose in the kitchens of Wagamama!  They donned their hair nets and hats and got behind the wok to try their hand at making a variety of dishes.  The portions were healthy and everyone left with full tummies.

We would like to wish “Eid Mubarak” to all families at Bevington who are celebrating. We hope you have a lovely day with friends and families!
