Rolls Royce Service

Speaking of questions the team from Rolls Royce got a real grilling in year 6 especially about their intentions post Brexit!! They came to check out our progress with the design projects we have been working on and they were very impressed. Well done Year 6 – engineers of the future.

Staying safe

The NSPCC have been in school this week helping classes understand how to keep themselves safe and think about different relationships. This is really important work and the children have been very mature in their questions. As we knew they would be !

Learning together

Thanks to all the key stage one parents who came in yesterday morning to learn alongside their children. It was a great turnout and the children were really excited to share their learning with you all.  Hope you had a great time and hope to see you all again soon.

Reading is the key

All week we have been focusing on reading buddies across the school and everyone has thoroughly enjoyed this. The older children relish the chance to read to the others. And the younger children love a good story. We believe everyone should read more ! Why don’t you join in at home?

Stargazing

We were so lucky to have the planetarium in school yesterday. It was a fantastic opportunity to explore the universe and think about space and beyond. Completely mind expanding in fact.

Flipping marvellous

Pancake day was a delicious affair at Bevington this year as usual. Children and teachers filled up on these homemade tasty treats and thought about the meaning of Lent. What’s your favourite filling ?

Our future selves

We love our annual careers fair as it helps us focus on the future and our ambitions and aspirations. We know that all our futures start with education and information and we know everyone in the building appreciates that. Knowledge is power after all ! Thanks to Miss Po for organising it all so efficiently […]

Brilliant turnout – thank you!

Thank you too all the families who came to  parents evening last week. It was nearly 100% turnout this time. We aren’t surprised though. We can see how much you support your children and value the school. Thank you for all the positive feedback your appreciation is appreciated!

She shoots, she scores!

Congratulations to the girls in our football team who did a brilliant job in their tournament this week. They put up an impressive performance and won 3 matches. They also showed impeccable sportsmanship and good manners throughout. What great role models !

Making sense of money

Year one and two had really useful sessions about money this week. They were thinking about how to save it and when to spend it sensibly. Now there is a good lesson for their future lives!
