Year Six spent the day today making music out of … well… nothing. Or that’s what it seemed to begin with. They explored the ambient sounds, noises and music which exists all around us. Using everyday objects, a bit of imagination and exploration, they pieced together a work of musical art which John Cage would be proud of! Thanks to Mr Norris for the inspiration, equipment and for putting the day together. We can’t wait to release the final version.
Year 6 got their guitars tuned and ready last week for their incredible production of School of Rock. The acting was on point, the singing went through the roof and the atmosphere was electric. Well done to them all and thanks to the staff for putting it together.
Our amazing PTA worked incredibly hard last Friday to put on a spectacular summer fair. Thanks to all parents, friends and family who attended and made it such a success. We’re very please to announce that we made just under £1000, all over which will go towards our Science project to help our children. Thanks to everyone and we are looking forward to the next!
All children need to come in wearing something of their team colour on the day your class teacher will let the children know what their team colour is. All parents are welcome to attend and support their child for their sports day.
It’s time to clean out your cupboards and get rid of your unwanted junk!
As you will have seen, the PTA are holding the Bevington Summer Fair on Friday 5th July. All proceeds will go directly back to the school to help buy reading and science materials to help our children’s learning.
We are looking for nearly new unwanted items for our Bric A Brac stall.
There will be a table in reception from this afternoon for you to leave any items you wish to donate.
