Haikus, Limericks and Free Verse

We had an incredible turnout at today’s class assembly, with Willow Class teaching us all about World Poetry Day.  They even shared haikus they have written all about the Great Plague.  They were incredibly effective and the audience agreed that they captured the mood of the period hauntingly.  Ending with a rendition of Ring a Ring of Roses brought a macabre finish to proceedings!
