Happy Hanukah to everyone

Miss Rogers had an extremely busy day yesterday. Not only did she mastermind the whole school’s Christmas lunch, she also led Magnolia class in their assembly based on what people believe about Hanukah. The children handled their lines with aplomb and are getting really good at thinking about different religions at the same time, noting what is special about them all and how much they have in common. Thanks to the parents who were a brilliant audience as always, listening respectfully and supporting all the children. The assembly then  finished with a rousing chorus of the dreidel song which everyone was humming later.
