Kyoto Gardens
Year 3 spent the day in Holland Park exploring Kyoto Gardens – where London meets Japan. These gardens were created in 1991 and were a symbol of friendship between the Japanese and the British. In the gardens, we spotted Japanese lanterns, blossom trees (looking slightly autumnal) and the most beautiful peacock! We learnt that Japanese culture can be a little different to British culture, but it still looked stunning in the middle of Holland Park! At the end of our whirlwind tour of Japanese culture, we had a quick play in the amazing Holland Park adventure playground – we hope year 3 are not too tired for their spelling test tomorrow. Thanks for making today brilliant!
