Our parents get an “A” for attendance

As we all know parental support makes a huge difference in academic attainment and in engagement for all children and our parents would get an “A” for theirs. Both Key Stage 1 and Year 5 had open house today for their topic and maths learning so that parents can see what’s going on in the classroom and carry it on at home. Discussions and activities that families can do together are proven to increase outcomes significantly in even the youngest children so thank you to those who came to take part. We can see where the children get their ambition from!
