We love feedback at Bevington and try hard to act on what you tell us. We would like to share some of the fantastic comments we have received from various people that have visited our school.
Thank you so much for your help yesterday. Words fail to express my depth of gratitude for your assistance
I’d like to extend my gratitude to some amazing members of staff who have supported me in their own unique and special way
Am in slight denial she has to leave such a wonderful school.
To all the staff at Bevington
We can’t thank you enough for the time you have invested in our son. He is leaving a different boy compared to the one that arrived with a remarkable set of SATs results!! We are so grateful to have found your gem of a school.
I’m writing this letter (with tears in my eyes) to confirm that my son needs to leave your lovely school because we’re going to live in Manchester.
There are not enough words to explain how happy we were during last year in Bevington, thanks to all of you for helping my son not only to achieve great results at the SATs but to feel great every single day there. Thank you for supporting me too, I would never change the school if we could stay in London but I’m afraid we’ll be not able to do that after my daughter comes to live with us next month and for their best we’re moving out of London.
Thank you for everything one more time, thatâs the best school I’ve ever seen and I would recommend it to everyone! Best of luck from now on, weâll miss you!
Your inherent enthusiasm & care are so evident. I feel like we were just so lucky to have Bevington & truth is that state schools are like the lottery and I hit the jackpot here!
… do not want to go to any other school. Â Please help us and tell me what to do to get them back to the best school in the world.
I have very fond memories of Bevington and enjoyed my time as a pupil in Bevington. I remember we use to have a tuck shop where we were able to buy snacks during break time. I remember Mr Haylock who was headteacher. He was a very jolly character. After he left we had Mrs Prince Jackson who was a committed headteacher. I also remember when the library was opened first, that was very exciting and I remember being in the local newspaper regarding the opening of the library. When I was in year 6, which was over 25 years ago, we had the competition for the school uniform logo. I always aspired to be like the teachers I had and that’s probably one of the reasons why I chose a career within education. It’s nice that my boys are going to the same primary school as their mother and they seem to enjoy it just as much as I did!
Thank you for all the staff have done for this school and in my heart I will miss you. You’ve helped to make the school a better place! Thank you
I love learning even more thanks to all of you but I have to go already. Don’t forget me!
All of the teachers are funny, kind and helpful. I like the way that they always make people happy. Thank you!
When I reminisce about my experiences as a child at Bevington I feel a great deal of delight. My time there was full of joy, fun and excitement. I made strong friendships at that time in school that I still have to this day. Bevington had a buzzing atmosphere that matched the vibe of the local community. I remember that most children didn’t want to go home at the end of the school day! It was a great feeling being a pupil of Bevington and is even better teaching there now, in the place where my journey started.Â
What a fun afternoon opening the school library. It was great to meet everyone and see how they joined in the spirit of the event.
Thank you for all your support this year! I wouldn’t have got this far without the opportunities that you gave me.
Thank you so much for your very kind welcome.. It was lovely to see all the very enthusiastic children. I am full of admiration.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to step on this amazing journey that I am on today. What a huge impact everything had. I am so grateful. Congratulations for all the positive changes there have been at Bevington surely there are more to come.
Thank you for all your help this week. It has been incredibly helpful!
Thank you so much for providing me with such an amazing opportunity to work in your school. Thank you for making such a brilliant school with amazing staff to help and teach these fantastic children. This school is one of the most hard working schools I have seen and I know it will get better and better.
I had a wonderful time at your wonderful school!
I’ve just been in the 452 bus with a group of children from your school, visiting the Albert hall (I think). I just wanted to drop you a line to say how well behaved they were, they are a credit to your school.
Thank you for granting the experience of work at Bevington. I really did enjoy it and found it fun and interesting. I now have a much clearer about working life and teaching in particular.
I looked on your website last night, what amazing things are happening at Bevington and I saw your KS2 results â they look fantastic.
So, a huge well done to you and all your staff and, of course, the pupils â I know how much hard work everyone has put in.
Can I take this opportunity to wish you all resounding success with the fantastic work you are all doing and as always you can rely on my support and help.
Thank you for supporting me all this time to become a better person. I really appreciate it.
Thanks so much for inviting us yesterday, the children from Barlby had such a great time.
I think the cluster event was a great success yesterday. From our arrival at the school to end of the event we felt extremely welcome. In terms of the event, it was well organised; the children knew what was expected of them and the girls Sion Manning did a great job too.
We would certainly attend a similar event in the future as the children were engaged throughout the event with all the very challenging tasks.
I strongly believe it contributed towards raising the profile of maths locally as it continues to promote a love of high level mathematical learning.
The children enjoyed the event as it was a chance for them to really test themselves with such tough questions. The questions were also pitched at the perfect level, really getting the children to draw on all their mathematical knowledge.
Overall I don’t think much more could be done to improve the event apart from possibly being joined by more local schools.
Many thanks to you and your TAs for the support and motivation you are giving to my son. He is doing brilliantly as the result of that. Education is SO IMPORTANT to me; it is all I can give him so thanks a lot for helping me achieve that.
Nice to see my old school still going strong. I lived in Acklam Road and went to school at Bevington from 1955 to 1960. Headmaster was the lovely Mr Gemmil. I have happy memories of that time. No uniforms then, however. While I moved away from the area in 1975, I still retain fond childhood memories of Notting Hill despite its hardships, which I hope are now consigned in the main, to that bygone era.
A quick message to thank you for taking the time to lead the informative tour of Bevington yesterday. I was unable to join my wife and daughter on their recent tour because I was away on business but the very positive views they had of Bevington resonated strongly with me.
Seasons greetings to you and the Bevington team.
I felt so proud to see pupils from Bevington in front of the line, immaculate and sharply dressed as they represented the school and community last week at St Paul’s cathedral.
Bevington has come a long way in such a short period of time. Well done and thank you for the work your are doing in our school.
The family uses this opportunity to wish you and the leadership team a Merry Christmas and Happy New year.
I have just made 2 successful appointments for both my children on the parents evening system. I would like to praise how wonderful, easy, organised and quick the process was. Many parents on the motherhood WhatsApp group have also said the same thing and I am so proud that Bevington has created this new system. Well done to the I.T. Team and the school for upgrading yourselves to best suit the needs of everyone. Really happy that my children attend Bevington a school that always tries its best to make improvements, well done again.
Very many thanks for this monthâs Bulletin â it is very much appreciated and really keeps us in contact with what is going on. The photos and the text are excellent.
So: thank you once again,
This is incredible! Well done everyone.
I am so proud that my daughter schools here and feel like a lucky parent!
I wanted to express how I feel about John Paulâs work.
First I would like to say a big Thank you to our school for employing a mentor. I discussed JPâs role with other parents in different meetings and gathering and they all feel jealous that we have someone the children liked and respected highly. Parents liked him and they felt comfortable to talk to him openly without making pre arrangements. Heâs is truly an asset and a credit to the school.
Secondly, from a personal point of view I felt and still do feel a tremendous amount of ease as JP is with us, supporting the parents. I do talk to my kids teachers and TAâs but I like to share my concerns also with JP for further advice and Iâm never disappointed.
Thank you very much.
I am delighted to inform you that one of you pupils was awarded the following at the recent LVS Ascot Music Festival:
Gold Medal-Â Woodwind Higher Class
Cup and Trophy-Â LVS Ascot Music Festival Woodwind Award
He is a very talented musician and we hope that they will take part in the LVS Ascot Music Festival next year.
We would like to thank you again for your hospitality on our recent visit to your school. Our Italian teachers really enjoyed the visit, and learned a great deal from the visit. I’ve received great feedback from them, and they have returned to Italy inspired to apply all that they learned from their trip to London.
I am writing this letter to express my appreciation and deep respect for the work that Mr John Paul is doing with our children. His deep passion in supporting our children to develop a strong and confident character, is exhibited in every aspect of his work.
Mr John Paul is a great mentor for my children, he inspires them to be the best and to never give up. He has great skills and methods in which he use to bring out of his pupils.
I would like to thank Mr John Paul for helping us shape the future generation. He’s guidance and encouragement has installed the love of learning in my children, as well as it has increased their confidence and improved their behaviour. I’m truly thankful to have him as a role model for my children. His effort will never be forgotten.
Weâre very pleased with Mr Doyle and Miss Parnellâs work, they are great professionals and all that they have done this year was a wonderful experience for our daughters and for us.
Thank you Bevington we will miss you all!!
I would like to thank the Bevington amazing  team and teachers for all the hard work, help and kindness troughout the past 4 years. You will all be missed!
What I never expected was that the hardest part for all of us about leaving London would be leaving Bevington. What a truly outstanding school it is, in every way. I am so grateful to everyone at Bevington for their dedication and also for the love with which everything at Bevington is done.
I really did not want to give notice of our departure until our plans were secure because losing his place at Bevington would be an absolute travesty if somehow our plans fell apart and we found ourselves still in London come September. At the same time, I felt badly that perhaps the place I was trying to save for my son ‘just in case’ might be needed by another child who hadn’t managed to win a place at Bevington.
Our plans still aren’t all set but I believe the move must happen one way or another in time for him to start the next school year in Canada at the same time as his future Canadian classmates. Anyway, hopefully our move will be successful and in the extreme event that we’re still in London in September, fingers crossed we’ll be lucky enough that there’s still a place for at Bevington.
Thank you to everyone at Bevington for the amazing work that you do and for your part in making the world a better place.
Dear Bevington,
Thank you for another fabulous year. We really appreciate all the hard work you all have contributed in taking good care of our children. We hope that you all have a wonderful summer and a well deserve break.
P.S. Wishing Miss Traviss, Mr Adams, Mr Doyle and Miss Stanislaus a wonderful future in their new journey of teaching.
Thanks to all the staff for their support and assistance throughout my years at Bevington. It has truly been a wonderful and amazing 7 years for me
Thank you so much for your help and support during our time at Bevington. Your understanding when the children started made such a difference to helping them settle in and they have really benefitted from the schoolâs caring approach.
Thank you all for your amazing support, both my children love and enjoy going to school and my oldest son will very much miss being at Bevington
Thak you for the opportunities that you have given me and thank you for all of your support. This has allowed me to flourish and become ready for my next chapter. I wish you all the best in your next steps for Bevington and the future.
With my primary school days coming to an end I would like to say how lucky I am to have studies at Bevington (the best school in the world!) I am truly grateful for all your help and support and for giving me all these opportunities. I has really been a pleasure to be one of your students.
Thank you all for your constant support and love and for being such a great team of teachers. I will miss you all very much.
We cannot thank the school enough for the investment and spent time spent ensuring my son had such a positive educational start. The staff have been amazing and supportive throughout.
Thank you to everyone for making the school a better place. You have made great changes in the way we learn and I will miss you greatly.
Thank you all for everything. I have learnt so much from Bevington in so many ways.
I just want to say a huge thank you for giving me a great opportunity to have work experience at the school. I had heard so many things about the love and care that you all show the children at Bevington and I saw that while I was here. The children are very lucky.
Thank you all for being so welcoming and making me feel like one of the teachers. It was a wonderful experience and made me more certain that I would like to pursue teaching as a career. Thank you so much to Mr Dasso and Mr Taghi for letting me follow them everywhere. They have given some great advice that I will never forget.
I had the pleasure of visiting your school at the end of last term as part of the team moderating Year Two. It was such an enjoyable morning for a number of reasons, and overall I was so impressed by the staff, senior leadership team, the children and their learning.
One of the many things that was great was that I went back to my school with lots of ideas- just what teachers love!
One thing I saw we have already been thinking about- your ‘no marking’ policy. Obviously this feels like a big change, but I thought the Year Two books I saw at your school were outstanding, and it is obviously working well.
Good evening!
I’m not sure if this is the correct email to get to Ms Leech / Chestnut class, but as we left school today my son said to me “Mummy I’m sad about school” I asked him why, “because I have to go home now Mummy” đ
Thank you so much,
He loves it already and it’s only been two days!
We absolutely adore the school and the teachers, especially Ms Po!!
We are very sad we have to say goodbye.
Dear Miss Po & all the Reception, Nursery teaching staff,
Thank you so much for organizing the mothers day picnic. It was so lovely to meet the other parents and see the kids.
You got the weather spot on.
We wrote this to say thank you!!
All the best!!
Your pupils were amazing and a credit to you and your school. They were respectful, they listened carefully to instructions and seemed to really engage in the session. I sincerely hope that they enjoyed themselves and of course learnt something new today!
Lastly, I know you all care about my son, but I truly believe that the bond weâve formed over the years is very special. You have shown me every week, with every homework covered in encouraging comments, with every note and phone call, that you love him. And I believe that you have played a huge role in every achievement he has made over the last 6 years. Youâve taught him to walk, talk, learn to read & write, and youâve taught him math, but more than that, youâve taught him to have confidence and to believe in himself. Thank you for believing in him and for your support all along the way. God bless you all.
I would like to share some fantastic news with you. Yesterday I was called in to Bales College and was informed that 3 former Bevington pupils are the only students in year 9 that were selected to do their Maths GCSE one year early. I would like to express my joy and thanks to all the Bevington teachers who taught them before, Â especially Mr Collett who gave them a good foundation to be focused on their studies. I hope you find this news as pleasing as us.
Just want to say thank you for your help with our son. We glad he really enjoyed these time at the new school and had a very smooth adaptation to a change.
After starting at Bevington he adapted In such a short time and we noticed changes in his behaviour. He started to enjoy learning and was challenged himself to learn read and write.
I really appreciate that even when his behaviour was challenging you was supporting us and we didnât feel bad about ourselves as we were filling at the old school.
Thanks for your professional approach to challenging kids. My son always after school was telling us about his day with warm feelings to his teachers. He loved Brain Brake time and he was teaching us to do it as well đ
The most important that he gain interest to learning and slowly we are making progress by doing homework as well.
We are very happy that we made a right decision to change school asap and were lucky to join your class
Wish you all the best in new school year.
Thank you.
Year 1 teachers I just wanted to recognise the fantastic lessons youâve been running remotely over the past week and a half. Know itâs not easy for anyone right now, but giving all the kids the opportunity to have the same quality of learning during this time is amazing and I applaud you.
Thought Iâd take a moment to acknowledge you all during the post lunch mindfulness session. Now that is something Iâll be adding into my work day going forwards for sure!!
Thank You!!
I just want to say a big thank you and a well done to you and all your staff for the great effort made for world book day. I was really impressed to see how engaged they were inspite of what’s going on. It was really heart warming and is a testament to your leadership that the staff remain positive, engaged and professional inspite of all that is going on personally in their lives.
Please pass on my gratitude, warm regards and a big well done to everyone.
Keep up the good work. It is appreciated.
