On Tuesday 9th October, 8 KS2 girls attended Craven Cottage – the home of premier league side Fulham FC – to watch an international friendly between England and Australia. After a beautiful autumn walk along the Thames the girls took their seats and saw Fran Kirby scored a fantastic goal to give England to lead. But unfortunately with 4 minutes to play, undeservedly Australia equalised. We hope the trip further inspired the girls and that one day will be see a Bevington pupil representing their country. Mr Dasso and Mr Smith couldn’t have been prouder of the girl’s behaviour throughout the trip with many spectators commenting on their manners and excellent support. Well done to Nastaho, Reyan, Sara, Sophie, Isabella, Rhiana, Melina and Dana.
