The moment you cheat for the sake of beauty, you know you’re an artist.

So said David Hockney, interviewed recently as part of the lead up to his landmark exhibition in the Tate Britain. This has the been the fastest selling art show the Tate has ever hosted and we are going to be paying homage to Hockney in our art morning on Friday 24th. The children will be looking at his landscapes and creating their own that day. A few very talented individuals will get to go to the exhibition later this term and see the real paintings in the magnificent setting at Millbank. We can’t wait to see what they produce.
