We say farewell to Ana

The whole school came together this morning to wish farewell to Ana who is retiring from Bevington after 34 years. She has taught so many of the children and their parents that everyone is really sad to see her leave. The children prepared books, poems and speeches to celebrate her time her and we had a selection of specially invited guests to spend time with her today. The video we showed at the end was especially poignant with Zainab in Year 6 telling Ana that our hearts will be Bevington blue now she is leaving us. Ana is about to become a grandma and she will be amazing at that. We wish her well in the future and hope she will come back and visit us with her new grandson.
