Day Care Admissons
At Bevington Primary School, we are proud to be opening our bespoke Day Care provision in September 2026, offering high-quality care for children aged 6 months to 3 years. Designed as a natural extension of our school, our setting provides a strong start for children, supporting early development through a balance of structured play, language-rich interactions and nurturing relationships. Our day care will run from 7.45am until 5.45pm each day, offering flexible full-time and part-time places to meet the needs of families. Children will be fully integrated into the life of the school, helping to build confidence, independence and readiness for Nursery and Reception.

Funded Childcare
From September 2025, eligible families can access up to 30 hours of funded childcare per week for children aged 9 months to 2 years. Funded hours are applied first, with any additional hours charged in line with our fees. Where children attend beyond their funded entitlement, charges will apply accordingly. To check your eligibility and apply, please visit (https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/)
You can apply from 1 January, 1 April or 1 September in the term after your child turns 9 months old. If your child starts before funding is in place, the full fee will apply. Eligibility codes must be provided and reconfirmed every three months.
Admissions
Admissions are managed directly by the school. Where demand exceeds available places, priority will be given to children who are looked after and live within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, children of permanent members of Bevington Primary School staff, siblings of children currently attending the school, and then by age with priority given to older children.
Starting with Us
Once a place is offered, families will be invited to an induction meeting with their child’s key person. This ensures we understand your child’s routines, interests and needs from the outset. Children will then attend carefully planned settling-in sessions to become familiar with the environment, staff and daily routines. This gradual approach ensures that every child feels secure, confident and ready to begin their journey at Bevington Primary School.
